Buggin' Out!

Buggin’ Out is a multiplayer bug-catching game where you interact, compete with and care for bugs in a whimsical and colourful environment. 

There is a full tutorial and introduction in the game!

Networking 

The game currently supports multiplayer through Steam Lobby or LAN. Both making use of Peer to Peer.

Controls

The controls are gradually introduced during gameplay, however you can use these to reference if needed!

Catch Bugs!

The island is filled with all sorts of critters! Every bug is based on it's real life counterparts with unique visuals, behaviours and stats! Explore various biomes such as the Fields, Forest or Swamp and capture the bugs that lurk within!

Compete with (or against) your friends!

The island is filled with various competitions and minigames! Catch the fastest snail and beat your friends in a race or battle it out in a game of rock, paper, scissors with your favourite beetle!

Complete Quests and Care for your Critters!

Decorate a home for your bugs in the terrarium! Play, feed and pet them for precious resources, such as spider webs or food scraps, that you can use to trade with the NPCs on the island with!

Customise your Character!

Customise yourself with a bunch of unique skins and hats! Become a bright orange rabbit with a police hat or just decorate yourself like a weird green alien!
